Jaguars sign TE Martin Rucker off Cowboys practice squad, opening up spot for Harris

A spot of the practiced squad opened up for receiver Dwayne Harris when tight end Martin Rucker was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rucker was the Cowboys opening week roster before being released and signed to the practice squad.

The Cowboys hope to sign Harris to practice squad after releasing him on Tuesday. Harris was a sixth round pick in the 2011 draft who had served as the team's primary punt return for the first five games.

He was released because the Cowboys needed his roster spot to sign a guard.

Comments

Jerry should get this kid back to Valley Ranch. Dewayne Harris can help this team in the return game when he gets a little more experience.
