Nothing brewing as trade deadline approaches

A source said there is nothing in the works as Tuesday's trade deadline approaches. Tight end Martellus Bennett and linebacker Bradie James would appear to be the best candidates for a trade, but as of Thursday, nothing was brewing.

Roy Williams was the last trade deadline deal the Cowboys made. In the middle of the 2008 season, Dallas agreed to give up a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for the Lions receiver as well as a seventh-round pick in 2010.
