Ware, Jones, Hatcher, Dockery miss start of practice

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware missed the start of practice Wednesday, along with defensive end Jason Hatcher and running back Felix Jones.

Ware suffered a back injury in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. Hatcher, who suffered a calf strain against Washington, had been hopeful of coming back this week, but he tweeted Tuesday that he would miss one more game.

Jones suffered a high ankle sprain against the Patriots.

Fullback Tony Fiammetta returned to practice. He had been sidelined by a hamstring.

Linebacker Bruce Carter, the Cowboys' second-round pick, practiced for the first time. He has been recovering from knee surgery.
