The Cowboys placed kickoff specialist David Buehler on the injured reserve list, finishing his season after he played in only four of the eight games.
Buehler was out from Week 3 to Week 7, inicluding the bye week, trying to recover from a groin injury. He came back and kicked two weeks ago against Philadelphia and last week against Seattle. He practiced on Wednesday.
Buehler delivered nine touchbacks in 18 kickoffs in the four games. Last year, he had 22 touchbacks, fifth in the NFL.
Also, the Cowboys re-signed guard Daniel Loper, who they cut on Saturday. Loper was originally signed on Oct. 18.
