How effective can Sean Lee be? Cowboys don't know

Inside linebacker Sean Lee plans on playing with a dislocated left wrist this week, but the Cowboys have no idea how effective he will be. Lee is wearing a cast, which his teammates have nicknamed Q Tip, that covers his entire left arm and hand. He will not have use of the fingers on his left hand.

NFL teams do not tackle in practice, so the Cowboys won't know until Lee gets into the game whether he can do what he needs to do to play effectively. Lee leads the team with 73 tackles.

"I don’t know that you know,” coach Jason Garrett said. “Again, you make your best assessment of the situation, factor in what he was able to do in the past, watch him this week in practice, what kind of guy he is and how he looked, and you put it all together and make your best judgment.”
