Jones misses practice

Running back Felix Jones missed practice again Friday. That makes it unlikely he will return from his high left ankle spain this week.

Jones has missed the past three games with the injury. In Jones’ absence, Murray has run for 466 yards. It is the best three-game stretch in team history. Emmitt Smith’s best three-game run was 446 yards in 1993.

Receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and cornerback Mike Jenkins (hamstring) were not at practice and will not play this week.

Linebacker Sean Lee (dislocated left wrist) came onto the practice field as stretching began. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admits he doesn't know how well Lee can play with a cast and heavily wrapped arm. Lee leads the team with 73 tackles.

"I don't know that anybody knows," Jones said on his weekly radio show on KRLD-FM. "If will and want to does it, then he'll play every snap. ...I know his wrist will be well protected. He knows what to do. As you know, he's our quarterback over there. He calls the defenses. Having said all that, I would think he'd get a lot of play time if he physically is up to it pain-wise or injury-protection wise."
