Offensive line wins Madden award

John Madden has selected the Cowboys offensive line as the Madden Protectors of the Week.

Each week, the Hall of Famer recognizes one NFL offensive line as the week's top performing unit. He will announce the NFL's best offensive line for the 2011 season at a Super Bowl XLVI press conference. This is the third year of the Madden Protectors Award.

The Cowboys had 433 total yards, including 163 rushing yards, and allowed no sacks in the 44-7 victory over the Bills last week.

I still prefer college football to pro, despite all of the nasty things that have come to light this year. I've got some cheap Outback Bowl tickets at http://amazonticketsonline.com/Outback-Bowl this year, and I'm looking forward to it. It should be fun.
