Elam will leave for funeral after practice Thursday

Cowboys safety Abe Elam said he will leave for Florida after Thursday's practice. His father, the Rev. Donald Elam Sr., died last week. His funeral is Friday.

"I'm getting everything prepared for the Friday services," Elam said Wednesday.
Elam used Jerry Jones' private jet to fly to Florida last week after his father's death. He flew back for Friday's practice and played in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.
Elam, who is fifth on the team in tackles with 54, will play in Sunday's game against the Giants.
