Felix Jones works on the side again; Jerry says RB should be up to speed on game plan

Felix Jones worked on the side with the trainers as the Cowboys started Thursday's practice, and even if he doesn't practice at all before Saturday's game, owner Jerry Jones said the veteran back should be up to speed on the game plan for Saturday.

"He's going to be involved in all team stuff. He should be able to get anything he needs to get about the game plan, about what we're trying to do," Jones said, speaking to reporters after bumping into them outside the workout gym at Valley Ranch. "We'll just let this thing get measured. But he did get good stuff yesterday."

Felix has been held out of practice this week with tightness in his hamstring. Coach Jason Garrett said he's hopeful the running back will be able to play Saturday against Philadelphia. Otherwise, the Cowboys will have to use 12-year veteran Sammy Morris, signed off the street last week after spending the year out of football.

Kevin Ogletree, who hurt a knee in a collision in practice this week, also sat out practice, as did defensive back Danny McCray (high ankle sprain), nose tackle Josh Brent (knee) and receiver Andre Holmes (hamstring).
