Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (rib muscle strain) and linebacker DeMarcus Ware (stinger) were back at practice Wednesday. But the Cowboys still are without running back Felix Jones (hamstring).
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Wednesday he is confident Jones will play. The Cowboys insist they are just being "cautious" with Jones since he is the only tailback left on the roster who began the season with the team. DeMarco Murray and Phillip Tanner are on injured reserve, and Tashard Choice, wavied by the Cowboys earlier this season, is with the Bills.
The Cowboys signed Sammy Morris last week to back up Jones.
The Cowboys also are without nose tackle Josh Brent (knee), safety Danny McCray (ankle) and receiver Andre Holmes (hamstring) at Wednesday's practice.
