Quarterback Tony Romo practiced Wednesday, throwing passes during pat-and-go and team drills in the part of practice open to reporters.
The quarterback wore a black glove on his right hand during stretching, but took it off for throws. He bruised his throwing hand in last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Defensive back Danny McCray (high ankle sprain), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ribs), linebacker DeMarcus Ware (neck stinger) and linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring) did not come out for the start of practice.
Running back Felix Jones (hamstring) and nose tackle Josh Brent (knee) returned to practice. Jones missed all of the practices last week because of tightness in his hamstring, and Brent had been out four games since being hurt in the Thanksgiving Day game against Miami.
