The first betting lines of the season are out for the NFL. Covers.com reports that the New York Giants are 3 1/2-point favorites over the Cowboys in the Wednesday, Sept. 5, season opener.
That number comes from betonline.com. Covers.com says another sports book plans to release its lines “in the coming days.”
The Bears and the Lions are the biggest favorites in Week 1, by betonline.com.
Both are 7 1/2-point favorites, the Bears over the Colts and the Lions over the Rams.
Peyton Manning and the Broncos are 1 1/2-point favorites against the Steelers in the first Sunday Night Football game.

Gambling is for losers! When did a point spread matter on the filed??
However, I was offered 2-1 odds that C- Hill would focus on the negative even if the Cowboys win the division. :))
