Cowboys owner Jerry Jones acknowledged Wednesday that third-round draft pick Tyrone Crawford has a heart murmur.
But Jones said it is not a concern.
"The heart murmur issue is one that I'm satisfied is OK for us," Jones said during the team golf tournament at Cowboys Golf Club.
Jones did not indicate when the murmur was discovered.
A heart murmur is an extra or unusual sound heard during a heartbeat, according to the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute. Most murmurs are harmless and do not require a change in physical exertion or activity. But murmurs can also indicate an change in structure or damage in the heart, and so require more examination.
