Tight ends coach John Garrett is coaching with a boot

Tight ends coach John Garrett could have made up a good story of why he is coaching in a boot. In truth, he was injured in a 5K run in Colleyville last weekend.

Garrett was diagnosed with acute tendinitis in his Achilles', but fortunately, he did not tear his Achilles'. He will wear a boot for a few days and expects to resume running soon.

Garrett ran a 21:08 in the race, without much training. He had hoped to run under 21:00, but he felt his Achillles' grab late in the race.

Garrett joked that the boot would ensure he doesn't have to go far from station to station in practice.

Jerry should have ushered out this Garrett from the coaching staff along with Campo and Houck. This Garrett is not developing our tight ends like we would want. JMO......lol..
