Bryant leaves with knee ailment, Cowboys awaiting word on MRI

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant left today’s practice to undergo an MRI on his right knee. Bryant was one of three Cowboys’ receivers who left the practice early, along joining Donovan Kemp (left knee) and Andre Holmes (back). Kemp also was scheduled for an MRI today, with results expected tomorrow.

Bryant’s injury occurred during one-on-one drills but neither Cowboys coach Jason Garrett nor receivers coach Jimmy Robinson saw the play in question. Garrett said: “Hopefully, Dez’s injury is not severe. But if it is, we’ll deal with it and go forward.”
