Receiver Dez Bryant is likely sidelined the rest of the preseason with patellar tendinitis in his left knee.
He will not play against the Rams Saturday and expected be head out of the preseason final against the Dolphins. Rest will be the method of treatment.
But Bryant has no doubts about his availability for the Sept. 5 season opener against the Giants.
"You know I'm going to play in New York, that's without a doubt," said Bryant on Tuesday.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett refused to speculate when Bryant would return but was optimistic based on the test results.
"Hard for us to project that much into the future," coach Jason Garrett said. "But we were pleased with what the result of the MRI was and it’s a day-to-day rehab for him."

But can he promise he won't disappear in the 2nd half of said Giants game? Thats the key question.
