Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne, the team’s first round pick, cut short Friday’s practice to undergo an MRI on his knee. Coach Jason Garrett said Claiborne initially tweaked the knee in Wednesday’s workout and it flared up during the Friday session.
“We don’t think it’s serious. It’s precautionary,” Garrett said of the MRI. “He tried to go today in the early part of practice and we took him out of it.”
