Cowboys playing wait and see on Bernadeau for Raiders game

Guard Mackenzy Bernadeau is still uncertain for Monday’s game against the Raiders.  Bernadeau practiced this week for the first after being sidelined since the offseason because of hip and knee surgeries.

Coach Jason Garrett said Bernadeau done a good job but the Cowboys want to remain cautioius. They will wait to see how he handles practices on Friday and Saturday before making a final decision on the Oakland game.

“For a guy who hasn’t practiced at all in the spring and through the early part of training camp, he came back and did a really good job,” coach Jason Garrett said. “Now, the question for all these guys is, can they sustain it? Certainly conditioning will be an issue for him, just having been out of it as long as he’s been out of it, but he had a very good day.”

Garrett is taking the same attitude with rookie receiver Danny Coale who return to practice this week for the first time since fracturing his foot in OTA’s.
