Receiver Miles Austin is out at least week with tight hamstring. The issue is somewhat concerning considering Austin’s history of hamstring injuries.
He missed six games with a lingering hamstring issue that started in camp and last throughout the season.
The Cowboys say are not concerned about Austin yet because because this is a case of them being preventative and cautious.
“We are being very conservative there,” owner Jerry Jones said. “These get a little tightness or a little twinge. Everybody is on the same page here
Let them have a couple of days off. We are a month a way from lining up. There is no need to push these guys and get something that could take weeks. The only thing that I can remember how last year it took weeks for him to get back a couple of times and what you are seeing is preventive so it won’t take weeks.”

I think I have the right to say this because it was me who over flooded the votes to keep you over that other wr who I already forgot his name was going to be picked over you to be on this team I saw all your up side but if you are going to be a injury prone player and have all these excuses why you can't play up to the NFL level then it is time to say goodbye and good reddens because if you are going to be this way with all these things on the line this year then Jerry will have to rethink his position with you because now you start to look like a choker who can't cut it when it comes to taking care of his body; well to tell you the truth at this point Miles your are becoming a disappointment but I hope you get it together before its too late to much is ridding on you but if you can't be the go to guy and we pay you so much money then it's time to part ways with you, so stop it with all this getting hurt and man up and give us what you did to get that money in the first place.

This bothers me...Jerry makes a fool of himself by saying we are going to kick the giants behind when it seems have the team isnt practicing. Same ol Same ol. To me two guys maybe three we cant do without. Since we didnt sign Roberson back, we cant be without Austin. Second we cant win with out Claiborne....our secondary was one of the worst in the NFL last season and third we cant lose Romo although we are in a better position backup wise. Dont these guys prepare in the off season correctly? NFLPA went all out to see these players dont get hurt but with the new changes they are getting hurt before they even play a freaking game. We are in the perhaps the toughest division with all the improvements the others made...To me the Giants got the best running back in college. I watch play regularly in high school...David Wilson is the real deal. All these injuries are boding well for my boys.

Here we go again,
Same ol' stuff again,
Marchin' down the avenue,
Two games in and he'll be through
Fans'll be sick and Jerry too
Are we weak or strong?
Playoffs hopes are gone
Sound off (1,2)
Sound off (3,4)
Break in on down now (1,2,3 4)

Well goodie, goodie. I'm so glad they're not concerned. Makes me feel so much more confident that this won't be another season long issue for Miles "Hamstring" Austin. Anyone else out there feel the same? Anyone?
