Johnson misses game, must rely on skimpy pre-season resume for roster evaluation

Dallas Cowboys safety Matt Johnson, a fourth-round pick from Eastern Washington, did not play tonight against Miami at Cowboys Stadium. Johnson missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury that flared up Saturday against St. Louis. Johnson logged only three pre-season snaps -- all against the Rams --heading into Friday’s cut to a 53-man roster.
