Pool, Madison released to make room for Little, Williams

The Dallas Cowboys released safety Brodney Pool, one of three players who failed the team's pre-camp conditioning test, along with cornerback Isaac Madison, this morning. The moves cleared room to sign recevier David Little and running back Javarris Williams, who are expected to take part in today's workouts.

Pool, an eight-year veteran, was signed in the offseason to battle for the starting job but had fallen behind Barry Church, one of the team's most impressive players in camp thus far. Church now becomes the front-runner in the race to join Gerald Sensabaugh as the team's starting safeties.
