Taplin-Ross waived by Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys waived safety Justin Taplin-Ross today, giving them two available roster spots. Ed Wesley, a former TCU running back, was waived Friday. The Cowboys have 88 players on their current roster, two below the NFL limit (90) heading into Monday's joint practice session in San Diego with the Chargers.

Taplin-Ross was not credited with a tackle in either of the Cowboys' first two preseason games.
