The team will take its regular day off on Tuesday.
“We have an extra bonus day here, so we’re going to take full advantage of it,” Garrett said. “We love the rhythm of the week in the NFL, the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday practice, but when you’ve had a little bit of a break like we’ve had, you’ve got to get back to work, and we’re going to take advantage of this bonus day against them.”
The Cowboys played the Seahawks last year, winning 23-13 at Cowboys Stadium in Week 9. The teams also played in 2009 and 2008, both Cowboys wins. Before that, it was the wild-card game at Seattle on Jan. 6, 2007, the last game the Cowboys played before Garrett came on as offensive coordinator.
“We haven’t seen them a lot,” Garrett said. “We have played them in recent years, but it’s not like it’s a division opponent. So we want to make sure we’re on top of their new personnel and some of the things they’re doing with their personnel.”
