Garrett praises Jenkins for "relentless" effort against Tampa Bay

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said cornerback Mike Jenkins displayed a “relentless spirit” against Tampa during his first game back from off-season shoulder surgery. Jenkins was credited with one tackle and one pass defended in Sunday's game while drawing considerable playing time with starter Brandon Carr shifted to safety because of injuries.

“You could see him hustling. You could almost see him trying with a smile on his face, which is often times when guys play their best,” Garrett said. “The love for the game was pretty clear to me.”
