Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has hosted world championship boxing, the NBA All-Star, the Super Bowl, bowling, rodeo and monster trucks at Cowboys Stadium.
Now he is looking for the next big thing.
And the potential blockbuster Ultimate Fighting Championship battle between superstar middleweight champion Anderson Silva and welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre is in his cross hairs.
"We want to have the big event," Jones said Tuesday morning on his radio show on KRLD-FM 105.3. "That's a goal and a dream of mine to have as a big of a sporting event when we can at Cowboys Stadium. I can assure you that I’m on the incentive plan to get them in there."
