Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins is on the practice field for the first time since last season ended. He had reconstructive shoulder surgery in January, which kept him out until Saturday when he missed with a migraine.
The Cowboys were missing tight end Jason Witten (spleen), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (high ankle sprain) and rookie safety Matt Johnson (hamstring) during the portion of Sunday's practice open to the media. Ratliff and Johnson had not been expected, but Witten had a limited practice Saturday.
Witten, who has missed only one game in his career, still has to be medically cleared before he can return to contact.
