Linebacker Anthony Spencer, the Cowboys' second-leading tackler, was not dressed for practice Thursday during the portion open to reporters, instead working on the side with Jay Ratliff and Kenyon Coleman, who also did not dress. Ratliff and Coleman are rehabbing from injuries.
Spencer was slowed by a hamstring injury in training camp, and the Cowboys brought him back slowly. But he has played in all three regular season games, recording 29 tackles and two sacks.
It was a padded practice, the 'Wednesday' practice in a normal week as the Cowboys get ready for the Monday night game against Chicago.
Safety Matt Johnson and linebacker Alex Albright were dressed, but not in pads. Johnson is rehabbing from hamstring and back injuries. Albright suffered a stinger in the Seattle game.
