Chris Jones punts one as Cowboys weigh their options at the position

Injured punter Chris Jones had his left (kicking) knee wrapped during special teams practice Friday. He attempted one punt -- on a free kick -- during the portion of practice open to the media before going inside with associate athletic trainer Britt Brown.

Jones missed the Oct. 1 game against the Bears after being hitting during the Bucs' game the previous week. He was replaced by Brian Morrman. But Moorman was injured before Wednesday's practice when he strained his right groin.

The Cowboys will work out punters T.J. Conley, Daniel Sepulveda and Chas Henry today at 12:30 after practice ends.

Linebacker Anthony Spencer, who said Thursday that he would play in Sunday's game, was a spectator in practice Friday. He strained his pectoral muscle and missed the game against the Bears.

Cornerback Morris Claiborne (illness) was back on the practice field after missing Thursday's session.
