Murray’s MRI showed a sprained foot, clouding his availability for Saturday’s game at Carolina. A Cowboys’ source said Murray is not expected to play against the Panthers.
Coach Jason Garrett had no updates on the MRI results for Jenkins or Claiborne.
Asked about Murray, who rushed for 93 yards on 14 carries against the Ravens (6.6 avg.), Garrett said: “I don’t want to get into the timetable for him. He does have a sprained foot. The extent of that sprain, we’re still trying to evaluate. We’ll see how he does over the course of the next few days.”
If Murray cannot play at Carolina, Felix Jones would step into the starting lineup. Jones rushed for a season-high 92 yards on 18 carries in Sunday’s 31-29 loss to the Ravens.

With Murray injured [again!!!] put BOTH Tanner & Dunbar in the game as RBs. Jones alone will not be sufficient. Continue to pound & run the football. Also utilise both Cole Beasley and James Hanna as third receivers in place of the lazy slovenly Ogletree.
