Garrett does not regret crunch-time play calls against Giants because ground game was stymied

In retrospect, Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he does not regret letting a fourth-quarter drive bog down in the final two minutes by refusing to run the ball. Dallas gained 19 yards on 17 carries against the Giants and the team threw two incompletions and an interception after facing a second-and-1 at the New York 19-yard line with 1:23 remaining.

“If we could have made a first down running the football, we would have changed the call,” Garrett said. “It was pretty difficult for us to run the football throughout the game.”
