JUST CHILL: NFL Picks of the Week, For Entertainment Only
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7TH
EAGLES AT STEELERS
The Eagles are riding high in the NFC East, but they are the second-best team in the state. Steelers, 24-20.
PACKERS AT COLTS
Andrew Luck may be the future, but Aaron Rodgers is the current QB King. There will be no passing of the torch. Packers, 28-10.
BROWNS AT GIANTS
This is another mismatch at the quarterback position as well as talent on the roster. Eli all the way. Giants, 27-10.
FALCONS AT REDSKINS
The Redskins and RGIII have proved to be a feisty bunch, but the undefeated Falcons will be too much. Falcons, 23-17.
DOLPHINS AT BENGALS
Don't look now, but the Bengals are 3-1 headed to 4-1 with a beat down of the hapless Dolphins. Bengals, 28-17.
RAVENS AT CHIEFS
The Chiefs start slow and turn the ball over at an alarming rate. Both are recipes for disaster against the Ravens. Ravens, 20-10.
SEAHAWKS AT PANTHERS
Look for Cam Newton to be down in the dumps after battling the Seahawks defense. But his face won’t be longer than Russell Wilson. Panthers 13-10
BEARS AT JAGUARS
The Bears woke up against the Cowboys. Look for them to feast on a sorry bunch of Jaguars. Bears, 26-16.
BRONCOS AT PATRIOTS
Peyton vs. Tom. It just doesn’t seem the same with Peyton in Denver. The results will be the same, though. with Tom winning as usual. Patriots, 30-27.
BILLS AT 49ERS
The Bills just got waxed by the Patriots and have to travel cross country for another beat down. Poor Bills. 49ers, 33-14.
TITANS AT VIKINGS
The Vikings are the biggest surprise in 2012. The Titans are not. They are woeful as expected. Vikings, 21-13
CHARGERS AT SAINTS
The Saints just can’t open the season 0-5. Sean Payton will be in the house. For one night, it will be like old times. Saints 31-24
MONDAY, OCTOBER 08TH
TEXANS AT JETS
The undefeated Texans are the NFL’s best-kept secret. Well, they won’t be anymore after this prime-time blowout of the Jets. Texans, 34-17.
* I didn't get this in before Thursday's game between the Cardinals and Rams. I will take that as a loss, because I would have picked the Cardinals. And of course, the Rams won.
Last Week: 9-7
Season: 30-34
