The Cowboys were without three starts during practice Wednesday. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware (illness), center Phil Costa (ankle) and running back DeMarco Murray (foot) did not participate. Costa is wearing a boot, and though Murray has shed his boot, neither is expected to play Sunday against the Giants. Ware said he has a virus but will return to practice Thursday.
The Cowboys also were without safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), running back Felix Jones (knee) and defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (ankle).
Center Ryan Cook (hamstring) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (pectoral) were full participants.
