Brandon Carr now sees what Cowboys football is about.
“I’ve been with this team for X amount of months now, and I just see that it’s a roller coaster,” he said. “One minute, it may look like you’re out of the game and you just sit tight and, like the weather, it’ll change in about 15 more seconds.”
The Cowboys were up, with a chance to put the game away in the fourth quarter.
Then they were down, giving up a touchdown pass with 1:07 left.
“I wasn’t happy about that,” Carr said.
But then, as Carr is learning in his first year with the team after signing as a free agent, the Cowboys came back.
“The offense went out there and put together a drive and got us to overtime,” he said. “And we went out there and played and got off the field and got the ball back to the offense, and they put the game away.”
