“We’re still in the race. We just have to come back and get a win,” said receiver Dwayne Harris. “There’s still a couple of games to be played. We just have to come back on Monday and get back to work.”
Quarterback Tony Romo said: “We continue to improve. But it’s hard to feel that right after you lose … I’m not thinking about anything other than this next game coming up (Dec. 2 against Philadelphia). We have to fight like heck to get some wins.”
Tight end Jason Witten said the team is capable of turning around a negative turnover margin that has contributed to so many close losses.
“At some point, it’s got to turn for us,” Witten said. “We’ve got the fight. But we’ve got to fix it. We’ve got to go show it.”
But Jones was clearly discouraged after watching Dallas (5-6) fall further behind the New York Giants (6-4) in the division race.
“It looks like our best (playoff) opportunity would be to end up with the best record in the NFC East,” Jones said. “I don’t know if 8-8 will get it there or not, and I sure don’t know if we’re going to be 8-8. I’m not trying to be negative, but we’ve got to play (Washington) again. With how impressed I am with how they played, we’ve got our hands full up there for the last ball game.”

6-10 at very best. Endless Penalties, Poor Turnover Ratio, Weak Hearted Efforts, Giving up Idiotic Starts at Home Games, Poor Player Management & Motivation, Flood of Key Injuries. All this is on the Head Coach & Ryan too. Both are Frauds. And what about DeMarco Murray??? Poor little ankle/foot injury eh? Out for 8 games or more??? What a Joke!!! Murray: If the injury to your poor little foot is so severe why did you not go IR weeks ago & have surgery??? Joke team with clown players.

They only have 5 games left, and all in December. December isn't the month that this team wins in. They consistently lose in December. If they get past the Eagles, then they have 4 tough games. The Bengals are playing some of their best football right now. The Steelers, if Ben is back, they really WON'T win, and same thing with the Saints. That just leaves the Skins, and we all know that they won't get past them either. I am seeing them hitting 6-10, 7-9 at best.
