Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant opened up with a few members of the media on Wednesday in advance of the Thanksgiving Day battle with the Redskins.
It's a holiday for family and Bryant wants it known that his family is fine and stronger than ever _ one week after charges of misdemeanor family violence against him because of an incident with his mother last July were resolved with the Dallas County District Attorney.
"Let me tell you something, my relationship with my mom is great," Bryant said. "Even after the fact it's great.I don't want to get into it much but when it happened in our eyes it was over blown.
I love my mom. My mom loves me. Every thing is great between us.
Bryant echoed his attorney Royce West in saying the incident actually brought his family closer than ever.

Time to let it go and quit asking Dez about this. Let the kid concentrate on football.
