The Cowboys were without seven players at practice Wednesday. Their top two centers were held out with injuries. Phil Costa (ankle) still is a ways away from returning, and Ryan Cook (knee) joined him on the sideline Wednesday, though it appears Cook has a chance to play this week.
Running back DeMarco Murray (foot) is closer to returning, but officially he did not practice.
Cornerback Mike Jenkins (back), safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (ankle) and fullback Lawrence Vickers (knee) also sat out.
Linebacker Dan Connor (neck) and defensive tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle) were full participants.
