Thursday, Nov. 8
Indianapolis at Jacksonville
Andrew Luck is the real deal. We know that already. The jury is still out on Blaine Gabbert. Colts, 20-16
Sunday, Nov. 11
N.Y. Giants at Cincinnati
One week after Peyton beat the Bengals on the road, Eli tries to complete the Manning road sweep. I believe in Eli. Giants, 24-20
Tennessee at Miami
Jake Locker will be back at quarterback for the crumbling Titans, but it won’t make a difference against a solid Miami defense. Dolphins, 21-10
Detroit at Minnesota
The Vikings were the surprise of the NFL for the first month of the season, and the Lions were a disappointment. The tables are turning. Lions, 24-21
Buffalo at New England
This one has blowout written all over it. The Patriots won 52-28 earlier season in Buffalo. Look for similar outcome. Patriots, 38-17
Atlanta at New Orleans
The Falcons are not the best team in the NFL. They are not going undefeated. They are ripe for loss at the Saints, who have won three out of four. Saints, 31-28
San Diego at Tampa Bay
The Chargers have had 10 days to prepare for this game, but it won’t help against a Buccaneers team that plays tough like its coach and has a hot running back. Buccaneers, 17-14
Denver at Carolina
Peyton Manning is playing like an NFL MVP right now. John Fox knows his former team and has the weapons to exact a little revenge on Carolina for firing him. Denver, 30-20
Oakland at Baltimore
Baltimore is not as good as its 6-2 record. But Oakland is not the team to exploit them in a trip across the country. The Raiders have bigger problems. Ravens, 27-14
N.Y. Jets at Seattle
Antonio Cromartie has guaranteed that the 3-5 Jets will make the playoffs. Clearly he is clueless about Seattle. It’s a must-win on the road that the Jets won’t get. Seahawks, 17-13.
Dallas at Philadelphia
This is the desperation bowl between two 3-5 teams. Both have bad offensive lines and turnover prone quarterbacks. The Cowboys have the better defense and get the win. Cowboys, 27-24
St. Louis at San Francisco
The Rams were just bludgeoned by the Patriots and now travel to San Francisco to face the league’s hardest hitting team. This will be another beat down. 49ers, 28-10
Houston at Chicago
The Texans may be the best team in the AFC. But the big boys of the NFL are playing in the NFC this year. If they are truly a title contender, they need to win at Chicago. Bears, 27-20
Monday, Nov. 11
Kansas City at Pittsburgh
Look for this one to be over early. Todd Haley gets a little revenge against his old team, which is currently the league’s worst and playing for the top draft pick. Steelers, 34-17
Last week: 11-3
Season: 76-57
