Kevin Ogletree wants to make one thing completely clear: He is not frustrated.
"I’ve never been one to complain about opportunities," Ogletree said Thursday. "Just make the best of them when they come my way. I'm just trying to be my best when the time calls for it."
Ogletree had a career-best game in the season opener with eight catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns. He has not been as productive since, with 13 catches for 134 yards and no touchdowns in the past six games.
"Production for me is wins," Ogletree said. "We’ve got to do a better job of closing ball games. I can come out of a game with no catches, knowing the type of guys we have on our team, we can win. I know we’ll win. We can win if I don’t have any catches. That’s the type of guys we have on our team, and I’ll never complain about opportunities or production. The first game was great. It was great because we won."
The Cowboys' third receiver has a sore right hamstring that has kept him out of practice the past two days. He said he is scheduled to undergo an MRI later today.
"Just something that came up in practice," Ogletree said. "Just kind of something that I didn’t know what it was, so I wanted to pay attention to it."
