Cornerback Mike Jenkins fined for late hit penalty against the Redskins

Cornerback Mike Jenkins was fined $7,875 by the league for an unnecessary roughness penalty against the Redskins last Thursday, according to a source.

Jenkins pushed receiver Pierre Garcon down after he had scored on a 59-yard catch and run for a touchdown through the Cowboys defense. A brief skirmish ensued and Jenkins was flagged by the officials for a late hit.
