Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle) dressed for today’s practice and coach Jason Garret said he was “certainly hopeful he will play” Sunday against Philadelphia. The Cowboys will release an injury report later this afternoon, following today’s practice.
Ratliff, a four-time Pro Bowler, did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Garrett indicated the lack of practice reps this week would not hinder Ratliff’s opportunity to be in Sunday’s lineup if he can be healthy by game time.
“Different guys can handle not practicing different than other guys,” Garrett said. “The more veteran players, obviously, they’re more able to play in the game without practicing. You’re making individual judgments as much as you can.”
