Cowboys coach Jason Garrrett said cornerback Morris Claiborne “was better” Monday after getting a swollen lower lip when his helmet came off during a tackle in Sunday’s game. Garrett said he was unsure if Claiborne was treated for a concussion, just that he “took a pretty good hit” in the 20-19 victory over Cincinnati.
Garrett said safety Gerald Sensabaugh also was slowed by a hip injury during the contest.
“He certainly wasn’t himself, but he … gutted it out,” Garrett said.
