DeMarcus Ware not on field for start of Friday's practice

Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware was not on the field for the start of practice Friday. Ware has missed practice this week with a hyperextended elbow. He promised Thursday that he would be on the field Sunday.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff was the only other player absent Friday. He had surgery Thursday to repair a sports hernia.

Receiver Dez Bryant (finger) was dressed out and working in pat and go. Guard Nate Livings (concussion) and cornerback Morris Claiborne (concussion) also were on the field. Both were limited Thursday as was Bryant.
