Garrett shocked that Cowboys lost apparent fumble recovery on reversal vs. Pittsburgh

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he was “shocked” that Dallas lost an apparent fumble recovery when the first-quarter play was overturned on replay review. Garrett said he thought Steelers’ receiver Emmanuel Sanders made “three steps and a football move” between the time he caught the ball and the time it was dislodged by Cowboys’ defensive back Eric Frampton. But the recovery by Dallas linebacker Alex Albright was overturned.

“It was ruled a turnover on the field. We though the evidence was overwhelming,” Garrett said. “Then he goes under the hood and he overturns it. I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked.”
