Inside the numbers: Cowboys notes from Sunday's loss to Saints

With Sunday’s loss, the Cowboys finished 4-4 in home games this season. The team has a 17-15 record in regular season games (18-15 including playoffs) since moving to Cowboys Stadium for the 2009 season.

Dallas fell to 3-1 in December games this season. The team is 26-40 in December contests for the past 15 seasons.

Cowboys receiver Dwayne Harris grabbed his first touchdown pass as an NFL player, a 16-yard strike from Tony Romo with 3:35 remaining in the fourth quarter.

New Orleans’ touchdown with the opening possession means opponents have scored first in 10 of 15 games this season. Dallas is 5-5 when opponents score first this season.

The Cowboys opened the roof and doors for the sixth consecutive game and the seventh time overall this season. Dallas is 3-4 in those contests and 4-7 in stadium history with that setup.
