Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin) was not on the practice field. It appears he will miss his seventh game of this season. Ratliffmissed the first four games with a high-ankie sprain.
"He continues to work on his rehab," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said.
Safety Charlie Peprah (knee) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand) also were missing during the portion of practice open to the media.
Left guard Nate Livings (knee) was on the field with his helmet, and it appeared he might go through a limited practice. He had a band around his right knee, an injury he has played through the past few weeks. Livings missed Thursday's practice.
"He's just been dealing with some different things throughout the year," Garrett said Friday. "He's a tough guy, and he just keeps banging away, doesn't say a word to anybody. We just felt like it was a good idea for him not to practice yesterday and hopefully he responds well today."
