Murray, Ratliff listed as missing practice; Jones, Cook, Austin, Smith return to full action

Running back DeMarco Murray and nose tackle Jay Ratliff were among four players who missed practice Wednesday, but running back Felix Jones, center Ryan Cook, receiver Miles Austin and tackle Tyron Smith returned to full participation.

Murray said he did conditioning work Wednesday and that he felt fine after 27 touches on Sunday in his first action since a sprained foot kept him out six weeks. He promised that he would practice Thursday.

Ratliff, out with a groin injury, was on the field in a jersey and with his helmet during the portion of practice open to reporters, but he did not do all of the stretching exercises. The Cowboys listed him as ‘Did Not Participate’ in the practice report.

Also missing practice were safety Charlie Peprah (knee) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand).

Defensive tackle Sean Lissemore (ankle), linebacker Anthony Spencer (calf) and fullback Lawrence Vickers (knee) were listed as full participants.
