Nose tackle Jay Ratliff returned to the practice field, but running back DeMarco Murray and safety Charlie Peprah stayed in during the period open to reporters.
With only two players out, it gave the Cowboys a chance to have one of their healthiest Wednesday practices of the season.
Ratliff, who missed last week's game because of a groin injury, had his jersey and helmet but he didn't go through all of the stretching exercises.
Murray is likely being given extra time to rest after getting 27 touches last week on his return from a sprained foot that kept him out six weeks.
Peprah missed last week because of a foot injury.
