Linebacker Ernie Sims said he’ll put himself through a contact test before Sunday’s game to make sure he doesn’t get dizzy mid-game like last week.
He practiced in full all week, but the Cowboys listed him as questionable.
“I’m probably just going to get an offensive lineman and put some pads on, put a helmet on and pretty much stick my head in there and see if I get dizzy or have any symptoms so I don’t put myself in a bad situation,” Sims said. “We’re going to do that before we have to be active or inactive.”
Sims left last week's game against the Saints at the end of the first quarter because he got dizzy. He had been recovering from a concussion the week before.
The Cowboys listed linebacker DeMarcus Ware (elbow, shoulder) as probable, along with linebacker Alex Albright (knee), Dez Bryant (finger), linebacker Victor Butler (groin), defensive end Jason Hatcher (thigh), running back DeMarco Murray (foot).
Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin) is out.
