The Cowboys’ offense scored four touchdowns, rushed for 123 yards and passed for 303 yards. Dallas is now 6-6, one game out in the wild-card race.
“It means we’re playing some football and moving the ball efficiently. And doing some things right,” Vickers said. “And that’s what we need to continue to do. Do the right things so we can put ourselves in those positions. I think it was a good day. We’ve got a long way to go. We just want to keep pushing and be better in all aspects of our game.”
How optimistic is Vickers that this could be the start of a December to remember for a franchise that typically struggles in that month?
“I’m always the same way. Every game, I think we’re going to go out there, we’re going to win and we’re going to play good football,” Vickers said. “I’m going to keep that same, positive mindset. A positive mindset brings out a positive outcome.”
