Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones, others watch Senior Bowl practice, but Kiffin, Garrett not with them

The Cowboys brought much of their coaching staff to Mobile, Ala., for the Senior Bowl workouts.

New defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, linebackers coach Matt Eberflus and secondary coach Jerome Henderson attended the weigh-in of the players on Monday morning.

But neither Kiffin nor head coach Jason Garrett were present for the North team practice on Monday, where owner Jerry Jones, executive vice president Stephen Jones, head scout Tom Ciskowski and other scouts watched the workout.

Asked about Garrett, Jones said, “He’s here, looking at the players.”

He did not say where Kiffin was but said that, “It’s good to have him on board."

Jones said the entire organization has been behind the staff changes.

“I think we’re doing things that have certainly, immediately, made a difference and yet can take the good things that we want to build on and that we have got to build on,” Jones said. “And Jason and I, and our entire organization, are working together to do just that, and I think the decisions we made have really improved our chances.”
